I have a new favorite color. It’s Pantone’s Cherry Blossom, and I used it to develop my online portfolio v. 3.0.0 along with Pantone’s Lettuce Green. I thought the pink and the green looked good together. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!

Confession #4 | I’m from Florida, but I don’t love orange juice

I’m from Florida, but I don’t love orange juice. I do however love the color orange. My most recent project is a To Do List App that features a pink and orange color scheme.

I developed it with AngularJS, but now I’m learning Angular 2, so I can redevelop it with more features. You can check out my progress on GitHub. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!

Confession #3 | My most recent project doesn’t have any pink in it at all

Collins Wolf and Wildlife Sanctuary’s Website

My most recent project doesn’t have any pink in it at all, but I still love the redesign I did for Collins Wolf and Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Collins Wolf and Wildlife Sanctuary was founded in 2017 by Jessica Collins. This sanctuary is being founded to give wildlife a safe, humane, and permanent home. This will be a place where animals that have been neglected, abused, or that aren’t able to survive on their own can come and live out their lives. The Collins Wolf and Wildlife Sanctuary strives to also educate the public on the realities of these animals and their habitats.

I love the purpose of the sanctuary, and I enjoyed redesigning the website. I chose a pretty blue to go with the brown in the logo, and I used Foundation to develop it. What do you think of the redesign? Let me know in the comments below!

My Online Portfolio V. 2.0.0

I miss Japan. In the Spring of 2016, my husband and I visited Japan, and we saw the sakura. I took lots of photos. One of the photos is featured on an alternate version of my online portfolio as well as a photo of me wearing a kimono I bought in Kyoto and smelling these beautiful flowers. This alternate version of my online portfolio is only a design comp, but I’m currently developing it with the help of BootStrap, and I will update this post as soon as I finish. In the meantime, what do you think of this design comp? Let me know in the comments below!

UPDATE: I finished developing it with the help of BootStrap. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!

Confession #1 | #FEAFBC is my favorite color

#FEAFBC (or Girley Geek Pink as I like to call it 😉) is my favorite color. It’s the primary color of my online portfolio. I wanted my online portfolio to not only show off my projects, but my personality too, which is why I chose it. The glasses are similar to mine that I love to wear when I’m coding, and “A Girley Geek” is how I describe myself. I may love pink and wearing bows, but I can code as well as (if not better than 😜) the boys! What do you think of my online portfolio v. 1.1.0? Let me know in the comments below!
